Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 October 2026
FlowFraming is a software product developed and operated by FlowFraming Labs, Viña del Mar, Chile (“FlowFraming”, “we”, “us”). Contact: contact@flowframingtool.com.
These Terms govern your use of the FlowFraming add-in for Autodesk® Revit® (the “Software”), the website flowframingtool.com and your FlowFraming account. By creating an account, installing or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purchases and our reseller
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payments and handles returns. Paddle’s Buyer Terms apply to your purchase in addition to these Terms.
Prices are shown in US dollars on our website. Applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated and collected by Paddle at checkout.
2. Licenses
- Free trial. One 14-day trial per person and per computer, with full features, no payment required. The trial is tied to the computer on which it was started.
- Annual subscription. A license to use the current and all new versions released during each paid year. It renews automatically every year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page; the license keeps working until the end of the period already paid.
- Perpetual license. A one-time purchase that lets you use the version you bought, and updates released within the first 12 months after purchase, for an unlimited time.
- Seats. Each license is for one named user and may be active on up to two (2) computers at the same time unless your order says otherwise. You may move a seat by deactivating a computer from the add-in or your account page.
3. Activation and license checks
The Software requires sign-in with your FlowFraming account and an internet connection to activate. It re-checks the license periodically and keeps working offline for up to 7 days after the last successful check. If a payment fails, a subscription ends, a purchase is refunded or charged back, the Software stops working on your computers.
4. Acceptable use
You may not share your account, resell or sublicense the Software, circumvent or tamper with license checks, reverse engineer the Software except where the law expressly allows it, or use it to build a competing product. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. Your models and data
Your Revit models stay on your computers. The Software does not upload your models or project files. See our Privacy Policy for the limited account and license data we process.
6. Updates and support
We provide updates and email support at contact@flowframingtool.com for active licenses. Supported Revit versions are listed on our website and may change between releases.
7. Professional responsibility
The Software automates the modelling of framing members; it is not a structural design or code-compliance tool. You remain responsible for reviewing all output and for the design, engineering, permitting and construction of any project. Generated framing, quantities and drawings must be checked by a qualified professional before use.
8. Warranty and liability
The Software is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Software is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
9. Refunds
See our Refund Policy.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms; we will post the new version here and, for material changes, notify account holders by email. You may stop using the Software and close your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Chile, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
