Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
FlowFraming is a software product developed and operated by FlowFraming Labs, Viña del Mar, Chile (“FlowFraming”, “we”, “us”). Contact: contact@flowframingtool.com.
This policy explains what personal data we process when you use flowframingtool.com, your FlowFraming account and the FlowFraming add-in for Revit.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and an encrypted password (stored by our authentication provider; we never see your password).
- License data: your license type and status, renewal or end dates, and for each activated computer: a one-way hashed device identifier (it cannot be reversed to identify your hardware), the computer name, the add-in version, and activation / last-check dates.
- Purchase data: handled by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your payment details, billing address and tax information; we receive only an order reference, your Paddle customer ID, the product purchased and the payment status. We never receive your card details.
- Support emails you send us.
The add-in does not upload your Revit models, project files or usage of individual commands.
Why we use it
To create and secure your account, deliver and validate your license, prevent license abuse, provide support, send essential service emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing notices) and meet legal and tax obligations. The legal bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in preventing misuse, and legal obligations.
Who processes it
- Supabase (database, authentication, server functions) — hosted in the United States.
- Paddle.com (checkout, payments, invoices, tax) — see Paddle’s privacy notice.
- Netlify (website hosting).
- Our email delivery provider, for account and password emails.
We do not sell your data and do not use advertising trackers on our account pages.
How long we keep it
Account and license data are kept while your account exists and for up to 24 months afterwards for support and fraud prevention, then deleted. Records needed for tax or accounting are kept as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to its use, by emailing contact@flowframingtool.com. Deleting your account ends your license. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit; license tokens on your computer are encrypted with Windows data protection and digitally signed so they cannot be altered. Access to our systems is restricted to the operator of FlowFraming.
Changes
We will post updates to this policy on this page.
